Christmas markets, exhibitions and activities for children are among the events coming to West Bridgford and Bingham libraries during November and December.
Inspire’s latest programme includes free activities for families, a storytelling exhibition and a chance to try virtual reality.
West Bridgford Library
The Little Creatives interactive exhibition continues until Monday 9 November. Aimed at families with young children, it features work by artists involved in Inspire’s early years workshops.
Visitors can collect free activity cards with ideas to try at home. The exhibition is free to visit during library opening hours.
From Thursday 12 November to Monday 21 December, the library will host the I Am a Storyteller exhibition. It features work created by five storytellers working with five groups as part of the project. Entry is free during normal opening hours.
A Christmas market will take place on Saturday 5 December, from 10am to 2pm, featuring small businesses and local makers selling gifts.
On Saturday 12 December, visitors aged 10 and over can try virtual reality headsets at a free drop-in session. It runs from 10am to 3pm, with no booking required.
Bingham Library
A Little Creatives workshop for children aged two to five and their accompanying adults will take place on Thursday 12 November at 11.15am.
Led by artists, the session offers hands-on creative activities designed to help young children explore materials and develop new skills. It is free, but advance booking is strongly recommended.
