The A1 in Nottinghamshire is closed northbound between the A620 (Ranby, Retford) and the A634 (Blyth).
There is a shed load of offal across the carriageway. Nottinghamshire Police and Highways England Traffic Officers are on scene, Specialist clean-up crews have been requested.
Motorists should follow the solid circle diversion route:
- Exit onto the A57 and travel north via Worksop to the M1 J31.
- Join the M1 and travel north, merge onto the M18 and continue north.
- Travel to the M18 J2 and exit to re-join the A1.
