The Abbey Road Primary Safari Sale is back for its third year, and it’s set to be bigger, busier and more community-spirited than ever.
Returning to West Bridgford on Sunday 10 May, the much-loved event will once again see streets transformed into a trail of pop-up stalls, as residents sell everything from pre-loved clothes and toys to homeware, books and hidden gems. Using a shared map, shoppers can wander from stop to stop, picking up bargains along the way. And this year, organisers have a clear message: everyone is welcome.
You don’t need to be part of Abbey Road Primary School to join in. Any local resident can sign up to host a stall and be included on the official Safari Sale map – making it a brilliant chance to clear out clutter, make some extra cash, and meet your neighbours.
Organised by the Abbey Road Home School Association (HSA), the event is all about community, sustainability and a bit of fun. The organisers have said: “The Safari Sale has become such a highlight for us, and we’d love to see even more local residents involved this year. It’s open to absolutely everyone – whether you want to sell, shop, or just soak up the atmosphere.”
Shoppers can expect a lively, family-friendly day out, with plenty of variety and surprises along the route. It’s also a great way to shop more sustainably, giving pre-loved items a second life instead of sending them to landfill.
Stallholders pay a small fee to be included on the map but keep all the money they make on the day, while proceeds from bookings go towards supporting the school and enhancing pupils’ learning environment.

So gather your friends, plan your route, and get ready to explore.
