Adam Hill proposed as Chief Executive of Rushcliffe Borough Council

Adam Hill is being proposed as Rushcliffe Borough Council’s new Chief Executive, subject to ratification at a Full Council meeting on 5 December.

He is set to start the position next year and is currently CEO at Mansfield District Council. Previously, he served as Deputy Chief Executive at Swansea Council.

If confirmed, he will replace Chief Executive Kath Marriott and has expressed his delight at the opportunity to take on the role.

He said: “I am very pleased to be proposed as the new Chief Executive.

“When ratified, it will be fantastic to join Rushcliffe with such an ambitious agenda ahead and to focus on further delivering the Council’s priorities of the environment, sustainable growth, quality of life, and efficient services.

“I love Mansfield – both the people and the place – and I hope I have made an impact during my time here. I will be sad to leave the organisation, but the time is right to embrace this new opportunity at Rushcliffe. I will be going back to my roots in regeneration and place-shaping, which were formative during my early years in local authority.”

Leader of the Council, Councillor Neil Clarke MBE, said: “I am delighted to propose Adam for the role of Chief Executive at Rushcliffe.

“I am confident his energy and enthusiasm will continue promoting the Borough as a great place to live, work, and play.

“His current role as Chief Executive will bring a wealth of experience, enabling the organisation to continue to prosper and work with many partners to encourage further growth within the Borough.”
