Ahead of Notts County’s EFL League Two Play-Off Final victory over Salford City, pupils from Lady Bay Primary School representing Notts County stepped out in front of thousands of supporters to take on St John Fisher Catholic Primary School, representing Barnet.
Wearing the famous black and white stripes, they produced a brilliant performance to run out 4-0 winners.
Player of the match and hat-trick scorer Ethan said: “It feels amazing to score three goals. I was pleased to use my left foot for my second goal, my Grandad would be happy with that after training me to use it!

“My teacher said in the tunnel before coming out that he could see a hattrick coming for me and I just wanted to prove it to him, and I did, so I’m happy to be mentioned with other people who have scored a hattrick at Wembley.

“This competition is a great opportunity, it’s really well done because any school can enter, hopefully I get the chance to play at Wembley again in the future, I would love to do it again.”
The Utilita Kids Cup is one of the country’s largest football competitions for schoolchildren, with more than 20,000 boys and girls representing EFL clubs each year across England and Wales.
As well as giving children the opportunity to play at Wembley Stadium, the competition inspires young people to stay active, healthy and develop confidence and teamwork through football.
Former participants include Jamal Musiala, Adam Wharton and Scott McTominay.
