Two people have been arrested after a woman was assaulted in Sneinton.
The woman, aged in her 50s, was found injured in Lichfield Road, Sneinton, at 6.22am on Saturday and is currently being treated in hospital.
Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Two people, a 63-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman have been arrested and are currently in police custody,
A police cordon is currently in place as investigations into what happened continue.
Detective Inspector Thomas Bentley, said:
“We are currently working to understand how and where this woman was assaulted and have now identified two suspects.
“As our investigation continues, we ask that any additional witnesses who saw or heard anything suspicious early this morning to come forward without delay.”
