The bus operator has decided not to operate evening services in the village.
Stagecoach says it will not operate services in Carlton in Lindrick this weekend after incidents of vandalism including bricks being thrown at the vehicles.
A spokesperson for West Bassetlaw police said:
‘Following a recent recurrence of incidents of anti-social behaviour in the Carlton in Lindrick area towards buses Stagecoach have taken the decision that after 1800 hours tonight (Saturday 4th March 2023) and tomorrow (Sunday 5th March 2023) buses will not be travelling through the village.
‘Buses will only be using Doncaster Road in order to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers.
