CCTV image released after knife incident in Stapleford

Nottinghamshire Police has released this picture of a man in connection with a knife incident in Stapleford.

Officers were called to an incident on 10 July at around 3.45 pm in Derby Road, Stapleford where a man was involved in an argument in the street.

Police Constable Chris Archer is leading the investigation. He said: “It was reported that a man produced a knife from the waistband of his trousers.

“We are issuing these images from local CCTV footage as we believe the man pictured can help us with our enquiries.

“The images are really clear, so we remain positive that the general public will be able to help track the man down.

“The force treats knife crime extremely seriously, whether it takes place in public or a domestic setting, and we are absolutely committed to driving down knife crime and serious violence wherever it presents.
