Clumber Park reopens on Saturday after fallen trees cleared – but Parkrun cancelled

Following a drop in wind speed, the team have been able to carry out post storm checks this afternoon and have cleared some fallen trees.

A spokesperson for National Trust said:

‘The park will open as normal tomorrow, Saturday 25 January, from 9.00.

‘Please note that although areas of Cow Pastures will be available to use over the weekend, we are not able to operate at full capacity for car parking.

‘There could be a wait to get into the park when you arrive and we may have to turn some visitors away, particularly at peak times.

‘We suggest arriving before 10.30 or after 13.30 to minimise disappointment and would like to thank you in advance for your kindness as the team make every effort to get visitors in and parked.

‘Please note that tomorrow’s Parkrun has been cancelled.’
