Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire will be closed on Sunday 25 October due to forecast high winds.
The National Trust site, near Worksop, will remain closed throughout Sunday as a precaution, with strong winds expected across the county.
The park is also expected to open later than usual on Monday 26 October to allow staff to carry out safety checks before visitors are admitted.
An exact reopening time has not yet been confirmed.
The closure comes as a Met Office yellow weather warning for strong winds remains in place across Nottinghamshire until 9pm on Sunday.
Visitors are advised to check for further updates before travelling to the park.
