A car stop led to officers discovering a variety of cocaine and cannabis deals scattered across a house.
Operational Support officers were out on the roads when intelligence came in about a vehicle with potential links to drug dealing.
The policing team came across a vehicle matching the description soon after while driving through New Basford, at 5pm on Saturday (21 June).
After trailing the vehicle for a few minutes, the officers sprang into action when it came to a natural stop outside a house in Sherbrooke Road, Carrington.
Based on the suspicions they had, they conducted a search of the car and found three golf ball sized wraps on board that contained cocaine.
Believing more drugs could be inside the property the vehicle had stopped at, the Operational Support team went inside there to investigate too.
That decision resulted in multiple quantities of cannabis and cocaine being found in different parts of the house.
A 33-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possessing with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis.
Detective Constable Ruth Towle, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“The officers involved in this drugs discovery did a great job in waiting for the right moment to move in after initially spotting this vehicle.
“Guided by information that the car could be involved in drug activity, they trailed it from a distance before making themselves known to the driver when they stopped.
“That decision ultimately resulted in our policing teams finding, not only the cocaine within that car, but also deals of Class A and B drugs inside the house where the vehicle pulled over.”
