Via East Midlands Ltd, in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, intended to carry out daytime carriageway reconstruction works on Compton Acres, West Bridgford week commencing Monday 9th March 2020.
A letter to residents reads:
‘As a result of unforeseen issues with A52 Clifton Boulevard at Clifton Bridge, we have been instructed to postpone the works on Compton Acres until Monday 20th April 2020 to alleviate traffic congestion in the area.
‘Please note that night time working at the Compton Acres/Rugby Road roundabout will continue as planned and are on track to be completed on schedule.
‘We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however we would also like to ask for your patience and understanding during this time as we strive to keep disruption to a minimum on the wider road network.
