The Conservative Group at Rushcliffe Borough Council have nominated Cllr Neil Clarke MBE to become their new leader, replacing Cllr Simon Robinson who stood down at the local elections earlier this month.
Cllr Clarke will be proposed as Leader of Rushcliffe Borough Council at the Council’s Annual Council meeting on Thursday 25 May by the Conservative Group, who remain the largest group on the Council.
Cllr Clarke previously served as Leader of Rushcliffe Borough Council for 12 years as well as having numerous roles in the Local Government Association and District Council Network.
