Officers investigating a collision in Long Eaton are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
The collision, involving a cyclist and a car, occurred in Stanley Street, Long Eaton at around 4.30pm on Tuesday 5 March.
The driver did not stop at the scene and the car, a Toyota Aygo, was later found abandoned in Gibb Street. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, suffered a broken leg in the incident.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage.
