Doughnotts launches its first franchise partners for Midlands events

Doughnotts is scaling its events and markets presence with the appointment of long-time hospitality specialists Suzy and Tammy.

Doughnotts launched in 2015 with a home kitchen, and a belief that doughnuts deserved to be better. Since then, it has grown into one of the UK’s most recognisable artisan doughnut brands, baking fresh every day in Nottingham and delivering across England, Wales, and Lowland Scotland.

“We are thrilled to announce our new franchisees, Tammy Clyde and Suzanna Nelson, who will be taking Doughnotts to events and markets throughout the Midlands,” said Wade Smith, Director of Doughnotts.

The expansion comes as a natural progression for the brand.

Doughnotts is known for its creative flavours and local roots. It operates multiple stores across the Midlands alongside a growing events and wholesale division.

“We’ve always loved Doughnotts; the quality speaks for itself,” said Suzanna Nelson.

“As a Nottingham-born brand, we are proud to be part of something local that people already know and love. Our background in events and franchising felt like the perfect fit to take the Doughnotts experience on the road,” said Tammy Clyde.

Suzy and Tammy are set to lead a high-profile summer tour across Nottinghamshire and the wider Midlands. Fans can expect to find the Doughnotts stand at several key locations, including:

* Tansley Big Day Out: Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June, Matlock
* Boho Festival: Friday 24th July – Sunday 26th July, Nottinghamshire
* Burton Joyce Pop-Up Market
* The Stalls at Giltbrook: Saturday 30th May

 

The long-term vision for the department is to establish Doughnotts as a staple presence at major UK festivals and established regional landmarks. Suzy and Tammy are focused on building a dominant presence in the Midlands before expanding into larger national opportunities.
