Doughnotts announces the closure of its Gordon Road premises.
Doughnotts opened in Gordon Road in West Bridgford in June 2023, before then opening what was described as its first-ever Doughnotts Bakery just a year ago in March 2025.
The bakery shop added more seating inside and outside.
However on 26 February 2026 the business said in a statement:
‘Our last day in West Bridgford will be 15 March, so make sure you come down over the next few weeks, grab your favourites and show the store some love one last time.
Three more stores will be opening at locations to be announced in the near future.
The owners say that in order to open three more stores they need to free up time and the closure of the West Bridgford site will support that.
The move comes after other closures in the town include Henry Brewer Gallery, NatWest bank and Halifax bank which will close later this year.
