Police officers from the Rushcliffe Neighbourhood Policing team have executed a search warrant at an address in East Leake.
Police said:
‘The warrant was connected to drug supply, a man was arrested and a quantity of drugs and other items associated with drug distribution were found at the address.
‘The beat manager for Bingham has received an update from the court today in relation to a man who was arrested for cultivation of cannabis in April 2025, the man has changed his plea to guilty and has been given a three-year jail sentence.
‘That case relates to a cannabis grow found in a residential house following information from a concerned member of the public in Bingham.’
