Proposals for devolution in the East Midlands have taken a further step forward today (Friday 21 October) with the release of consultation proposal papers to be discussed at council meetings.
Nottinghamshire County Council, Derbyshire County Council, Derby City Council and Nottingham City Council will each decide on whether a public consultation should go ahead as part of the required legal process.
The meetings are due to take place on:
- Nottingham City Council – 31 October
- Derbyshire County Council – 2 November
- Derby City Council – 2 November
- Nottinghamshire County Council – 4 November
