Electric bike collision with bicycle leaves man seriously injured

Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage following a crash that left a man with serious injuries.

 

The incident took place on Clifton Lane, Wilford, Nottingham close to the Mercedes garage, between 7:15 am and 8:15 am on Tuesday, 22 October 2024.

The rider of an e-bike was involved in a collision with another bicycle and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers have launched an investigation after being alerted to the incident the following day and want to hear from anyone who can help.

Police Constable Tom Griffith, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“We are gathering CCTV footage and carrying out other local enquiries into this collision but are also asking for the public’s assistance.

“If you were in the area at this time and noticed anything that could help us understand what happened, please get in touch. If you have any relevant dashcam, CCTV, doorbell, or mobile phone footage, we also want to hear from you.”
