Stapleford fire station attended an incident at the recreation ground.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service Stapleford station said:
‘This morning ( Saturday ) our crew responded to a small fire at the Hickings Lane Football & Community Pavilion.
‘There is damage to the dugouts on the grass pitches directly behind the fire station and scout hut.
‘This is now the fifth small fire we’ve attended on the park in recent weeks.
‘We are working closely with Nottinghamshire Police to stop this pattern before someone gets hurt.
‘Someone in our community knows what’s happening and who is starting these fires.
‘If you have any information, no matter how small it seems, please come forward.
