Firefighters in Tuxford brought the incident under control.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘In the early hours of this [Friday 15 October] morning, our Water Bowser was called to assist crews with this haystack fire on the outskirts of Tuxford.’
Other callouts included:
‘At 18:30 a crew from Stockhill attended a shed fire on Blenheim Lane, Hucknall.

‘Contents of the shed included a petrol can and a butane cylinder. Two hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire.
‘A cordon was put in place. Nottinghamshire Police was only informed.’
