A yellow fog warning has been issued for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, with difficult travelling conditions possible on Saturday morning, 31 October.
The Met Office warning runs from 4.11am until 10am and covers parts of the East Midlands and other areas of England and Wales.
Forecasters say fog could be dense in places, reducing visibility to below 100 metres at times. Conditions are expected to improve gradually later this morning, although fog may linger into the afternoon in some spots.
Road journeys could take longer, with possible delays to buses and trains. Flights could also be delayed or cancelled.
Drivers are advised to check road conditions before setting off, allow extra time and make sure their fog lights are working and they know how to use them.
Passengers should check updates from their transport operator before travelling.
Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire are also among the areas covered.
