Police are looking to trace the man after a sculpture was stolen from Nottingham city centre.
A 14-inch-tall bronze statue was taken from a gallery in Flying Horse Walk, near Old Market Square.
The £5,000-valued sculpture, which is shaped like a sea angel fish, was stolen from the gallery during trading hours.
An unknown man is believed to have carried out the theft, around 1.20 pm on 26 March 2024.
Police investigating the incident have now released images of a man they would like to speak to as part of their inquiries.
Sergeant Lee Walker, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “A highly valued item was stolen from a gallery in the middle of the day during this incident.
“Due to the time it happened and the gallery’s location in the middle of the city centre, there will have been several people in the area at the time.
“Bearing this in mind, we’d ask anyone who saw what happened to get in touch with us, so that we can track down the person responsible.
“We believe the man in these pictures may have had some involvement, so we’d ask anyone who recognises him to call the police on 101, quoting incident 350 of 26 March 2024.
“Information can also be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
