14-year-old girl assaulted at Nottingham tram stop

Police are seeking the public’s help after a 14-year-old girl was assaulted by another female while waiting at a Nottingham tram stop.

The victim was waiting at the Queen’s Walk tram stop, in The Meadows area of Nottingham, when a female approached her from the other side of the platform and attacked her.

She was repeatedly punched in the head and had her hair pulled during the incident which happened around 6 pm on Thursday 28 March 2024.

Officers investigating the assault have trawled through CCTV as part of their ongoing inquiries and have now issued an image of a female they want to identify and speak to in connection with the attack.

PC Aaron Harthill-Harrison, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “There will have been people in the area around the time of this incident so I’d urge them to please come forward and talk to us if they have any information which could help us with our inquiries.

“We are keen to bring those responsible for this assault to justice and are now appealing for anyone who recognises the female pictured to get in touch with us.”
