Images released after sexual assault at Nottingham Station tram stop

British Transport Police are today issuing images following a sexual assault at Nottingham Railway Station.

The incident happened just after midday on Sunday 13 March.

The victim was walking across the bridge near the tram station and ticket machine when a man approached her and asked her to help him buy a ticket to Liverpool Airport using a translation app.

He then sexually assaulted her before leaving the station and boarding a tram towards Hucknall.

Officers believe the man in the images may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 2300028544.
