Investigation launched after fire engine collides with lorry in Nottinghamshire

The incident happened on Wednesday 5 April in Ranskill.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:

‘At around 2.30 pm onWednesday 5 March a fire engine from Retford Fire Station was involved in a collision with a lorry on Station Road in Ranskill.

‘East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) assessed all involved and there were no serious injuries.

‘Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently supporting all firefighters involved and will be undertaking an investigation as standard.’
