Police have arrested four men following a fight outside a pub in Mapperley.
Officers were called to The Plainsman, in Woodthorpe Drive, Mapperley, Nottingham, at 6.25pm on Tuesday (23 June).
It was reported one man was armed with a knife.
A man was taken to hospital with facial injuries, which are not currently believed to be life-altering or life-threatening in nature.
Four men have been arrested on suspicion of affray and a knife has been seized.
One of the suspects has been further detained on suspicion of possession of a knife in a public place.
Detective Inspector Ed Cook, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“There was a significant police response to this altercation, but I’d like to reassure people it was an isolated incident and quickly contained by officers.
“Four suspects are in custody, but we’d still like to hear from anyone who was in the pub, or the area around it, and has any relevant information to share with us.”
