The A46 remains CLOSED northbound between A607 near Cossington and B676 Six Hills for recovery of vehicles following a collision involving a Heavy Goods Vehicle and a bus.

The A46 in Leicestershire is closed northbound between the A607 (Cossington) and the B676 (Six Hills) following a multi vehicle collision between a Heavy Goods Vehicle and a bus.

Emergency services are in attendance. National Highways resources are assisting with traffic management.

Diversion Route

From the A46 Wanlip junction and take the first exit and travel on the A6 north .

At the A6/A6004 roundabout, follow the A6004 north west along Epinal Way.

Turn right at Warwick Way to re-join the A6 at Loughborough town centre.

Continue on the A6 north west for 3 miles until the signalised junction with the A6006, then turn right and follow the A6006 for 10 miles until it rejoins the A46 (T) at the Dalby junction.
