The A52 is closed in both directions between the A6464 (Wollaton) and the A6514 (Nottingham) following a serious collision.

6 pm National Highways – original collision incident
Please note that the A52 remains closed both ways between A6514 and A6464 for repairs to a lamp column, following the collision.
There is currently no estimate of when the road will re-open.
5 pm National HighwaysÂ
Police investigations are now complete. Vehicle recovery and clear up is now taking place.
11 am – National Highways:
The A52 remains closed in both directions between the A6541 and the A6464 near Wollaton Park Nottingham for a police investigation following a serious collision.
10 am Police statement:
•  Nottingham: City road closed all day after three electric bikes and two cars crash
All emergency services are working at the scene with Nottinghamshire police leading the response at this stage.
Collision investigation work maybe required with the road likely to remain closed throughout the morning.
Diversion Routes:
Westbound:Â
- From the A52 QMC roundabout, take the A6514 north for 1 mile then turn left onto the A609.
- Follow the A609 for 3.6km until the large crossroads junction with the A6002 and turn right.
- Continue north along the A6002 for 3 miles until the large signalised roundabout with the A610.
- At the roundabout, take the A610 westbound and continue for 700m.
- Take the southbound entry slip road onto the M1 at Junction 26 and continue south until Junction 25.
- Exit the motorway to rejoin the westbound A52.
Eastbound:Â
- From the A52(T) Priory Island, take the last exit onto the A6464 south.
- Follow the A6464 until the roundabout with the A6005 adjacent to the University and turn left.
- Follow the A6005 for a short distance until it rejoins the eastbound A52 at Dunkirk Island.
