Live updates: A52 West Bridgford blocked both ways – collision

The road is blocked after a collision.

The road has reopened in both directions

The closure is due to a collision involving 2 cars.

Emergency services, including Nottinghamshire Police and Ambulance Services are in attendance.

Traffic is diverted:-

Westbound – (not symbol led) – Exit the A52 at Gamston on to the A6011 Travel on the A6011 towards West Bridgford Bear left on to Radcliffe Road, then turn left on to the A60 Follow the A60 until the left turn on to the A606 Travel on the A606 and rejoin the A52 at Wheatcroft Island

Eastbound – (not symbol led) – Same diversion route as above, but roads in reverse order.

Delays are likely on the approach to this closure, with additional journey times also expected on diversion routes.

Road closed and queueing traffic due to crash, two cars involved on A52 Gamston Lings Bar Road both ways between A606 Melton Road (Wheatcroft Island) and the Gamston District Centre turn off. Congestion to the Nottingham Knight Island for eastbound traffic.
