The M1 in South Yorkshire is closed southbound between J33 (Rotherham) and J32 (M18) due to a collision which has resulted in a significant amount of debris.

Diversion Route
Southbound traffic is advised to follow the solid triangle diversion symbol:
- Exit the M1 at J33 and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto the A630 Sheffield Parkway
- Continue on the A630 for 3 miles until the junction with the A57
- At the junction, take a left turn and continue on the A57 for 6 miles to then re-join the M1 southbound at J31
