Highways England and emergency services have removed the vehicle.
Two lanes were closed earlier today after a lorry left the carriageway.
Highways officers then opened all but one lane and the entry-slip at junction 22 southbound.
Highways England said at 10:45 am:
‘UPDATE: M1 J22 is now fully open.’
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘Accident on the M1 motorway junction 22 to 21a southbound.
A very challenging job this morning, a joint effort by Coalville, Western and Southern fire station.’
