Police are appealing for dashcam footage after a man died following a crash in Pleasley.
The incident happened when a black BMW 3 Series M Sport was in collision with a black Audi A3 on the A617, near to the Junction 29 exit, at about 9.50pm on Saturday 28 February.
Police said:
‘The driver of the BMW, a 33-year-old man, was taken to hospital with head injuries and died a short while later.
‘The man’s family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
‘Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time. A file has been prepared for the coroner.
‘A 32-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, who were travelling in the Audi, sustained serious but non life-threatening injuries in the crash.
‘Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage which captured the BMW in the lead up to the collision.
‘Information can be passed to Derbyshire Police on 101 incident number 26*119289.’
