Police are appealing for information after a man was found lying in a road with serious injuries.
Officers were called to Mapperley Road, Nottingham, around 4 am on Friday (19 July) after members of the public raised concerns for the man’s safety.
The man, aged in his 20s, was found to have suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital.
Sergeant Jordan Robson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The road is currently closed while police investigations continue and we would urge motorists to avoid the area.
“We would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding.
“I would urge anyone with any information, or relevant dashcam footage, to please get in touch.”
