Three men have been arrested after beating up a man and stealing his shoes in Mansfield.
A man was attacked by two men who got out of a car, assaulting him and stealing his trainers at around 5.15pm on Wednesday (13 May 2020) on Hibbert Road.
Officers quickly tracked down the car, recovered a large bag of cannabis and arrested them on suspicion of robbery and possession with intent to supply.
Officers then searched a property and found further amounts of Class A and B drugs, as well as cash.
Detective Sergeant David Prest is leading the investigation. He said: “I’d like to thank and congratulate the officers for making the quick arrests.
“We are pleased to have seized more drugs off our Nottinghamshire streets. We are committed to tackling the blight of drugs on our communities.
“We are constantly working behind the scenes to gather information about those who may be involved in drug supply and we will take robust action against those suspected to be involved in drug-related crime.”
The men aged 37,30 and 28-years-old remain in police custody.
