A man has been charged after three people were hurt during a disturbance at a pub.
Police were called to Low Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, following a report that a knife had been drawn and that three people sustained cuts during a subsequent scuffle.
The incident happened shortly before 6.30pm on Sunday (13 March 2).
Officers attended and arrested a man at the scene.
Craig Soloman, 43, of Penn Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, attempted assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article.
He was remanded into custody ahead of appearing at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
Inspector Samantha Winter, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Thanks to the quick actions of Nottinghamshire Police officers, we have been able to seize a potentially dangerous weapon and put a suspect before the courts.
“It is important that the public know that it is illegal to carry knives and that, whatever people might think, they won’t protect you from harm but will actually make you much more vulnerable and liable to end up in danger.”
