Police Constable Aaron Hill, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“A motorist has suffered serious injuries following this collision so it is really important we understand exactly what happened.

“We’d like to hear from anyone who was on the A57 in this area on Saturday morning and saw either of the vehicles involved, a grey BMW and an orange Honda Jazz, in the moments prior to the collision.

“Likewise, anyone with relevant dashcam footage should please get in touch if they have not yet spoken to an officer.”

Anyone who can help should call 101, quoting incident 122 of 13 December 2025, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
