A man who was seen entering the River Trent near Clifton Village yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 24 June) has been found safe.
Police said:
‘River, land, and air searches were carried out after concerns were raised for the man’s safety yesterday.
‘The man, aged in his 30s, was found safely on land in the Clifton Village area shortly before 2pm today (Thursday 25 June).
‘We thank everyone for their assistance.’
