Melton Road will be closed for overnight resurfacing works between Monday 14th July 2025 and Saturday 26th July (20:00 to 06:00 each night).
ROUTES AFFECTED: Green 7, 8, 9, and 9B
During these times, Green 8 and 9 will not be able to serve Bridgford Road or Central Avenue Shops. No buses will operate along Rectory Road, most of Melton Road or part of Musters Road.
Green 7, 8 and 9/B will divert as follows:
Green 7 to Edwalton Fields will follow its normal route to Central Avenue, then continue on Gordon Road, Trevor Road, right Valley Road, left Melton Road to resume normal route.
Green 7 to City will follow its normal route along Melton Road as far as Boundary Road, then divert right Valley Road, left Trevor Road, continue Gordon Road to resume normal route from Central Avenue Shops.
Green 8 to Wilford Hill will follow its normal route to Trent Bridge then continue Loughborough Road (passing ASDA), left Eton Road, right Musters Road to resume normal route.
Green 8 to City will follow its normal route to the end of Rugby Road, then left Loughborough Road (passing ASDA) to resume normal route from Trent Bridge.
Green 9 to Wilford Hill will follow its normal route to Trent Bridge then continue Loughborough Road (passing ASDA), right Rugby Road to resume normal route.
Green 9B to Trent Bridge will follow its normal route to Musters Road / Eton Road junction then divert left Eton Road, right Loughborough Road (passing ASDA) to resume normal route from Trent Bridge.
