West Bridgford and Edwalton overnight road closures for significant carriageway resurfacing works on the A606 Melton Road.
The works, conducted by Via East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, will involve temporary road closures between Manvers Road and Valley Road in West Bridgford, extending further to Village Street in Edwalton.
The first phase of the resurfacing will impact the stretch of Melton Road in West Bridgford from 8:00 PM on Monday, November 4, until 6:00 AM on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
Following this, the second phase will move to Melton Road in Edwalton, beginning on Monday, November 11, and continuing each night until Saturday, November 16, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
During the closure periods, motorists are advised to follow clearly marked diversion routes below.
The official diversion will guide traffic via the A52, A6011 Radcliffe Road, and A60 Loughborough Road, ensuring access to and from key areas in West Bridgford remains available.
During these closures, Green 7 will divert via the full length of Musters Road and Boundary Road in both directions.
