Two men have been arrested on suspicion of child sexual exploitation linked to a property on Woodborough Road, police have said.
A 52-year-old man and a 33-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of multiple offences, including facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child aged between 13 and 17.
The arrests follow reports that a room within the property was being used for sexual activity involving children. Police said a number of victims have been identified and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full extent of the alleged activity.
Officers said the property is a multi-occupancy building and that no current residents are being investigated. The two men arrested do not live at the address. Police said the alleged activity is reported to have taken place within a rented space inside the building.
Victims who have come forward are being safeguarded and supported while the investigation continues.
