Missing python found safe and well in the same street

The yellow and white python was reported missing from a home in Chilwell last week.

A neighbour in Blandford Road in Chilwell found Lavender who had been missing since 13 July.

Police had issued an appeal last week as a hunt for the 8ft long snake was launched.

It is possible that a drop in temperature caused Lavender to leave her hiding place and look for food.
