Several roadworks and traffic management measures across Nottingham are affecting bus services over the coming week, with a number of routes subject to diversions or disruption.
The works, taking place at multiple locations including Derby Road, Bestwood Park Drive and Alfreton Road, are part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades, utility works and highway improvements across the city. Bus operators have warned passengers to allow extra time for journeys and check route updates where possible.
Among the latest works are extended weekday closures of Bestwood Park Drive between 14 March and 18 March, affecting route 88, while overnight closures of the A52 Derby Road between 16 March and 19 March will impact routes 35B and 36.
Elsewhere, disruption remains in place on Thane Road and near City Hospital on Linden Way, both of which are affecting several routes until further notice.
A one-way traffic system introduced on Derby Road earlier this year is also continuing to affect a wide range of services, while major crossing works on Alfreton Road are scheduled to run until the end of March.
Passengers travelling on affected routes are advised to check service updates before travelling and allow additional time for their journeys.
