The mystery of the Tollerton knitted characters is delighting people of the village.
Dotted around the village – the knitted festive characters could be found anywhere – hiding in bushes, on walls, no-one knows if they move around or stay in one place.
They all contain a message for the festive season too. The only clue to the knitter’s identity are the initials SB on some of the finds.
Many children have photographs of themselves with the friendly little folk and seem delighted with their finds.

Another: FREE GIFT I am not lost, just all alone Made you smile.
Th work follows a social media initiative of Random Act of Kindness knitting and crocheting where people make characters and leave them for others in public places.
