Passengers using Nottingham’s tram network face longer waits this evening, with NET warning that high levels of staff absence are expected to lead to a limited service.
In an update issued at 4:36 pm on Sunday 25 October, the operator said extended waiting times would affect all services.
NET said it was working to cover gaps in the service and advised passengers to check the timings shown on tram stop displays.
The operator said: “Due to a high level of staff absence, we anticipate operating a limited tram service this evening.
“We are working to cover any service gaps, but there will be extended wait times affecting all services.
“Please refer to the timings on the displays.”
The update did not specify how frequently trams would run or when a normal service was expected to resume.
