A portfolio of popular well-known beer brands including the UK’s number one selling lager is now on offer at Motorpoint Arena Nottingham thanks to a major new drinks partnership with Molson Coors.
Aspall Cyder, Madri Excepcional and Staropramen are now available in the 10,000 capacity world-class entertainment venue alongside popular favourites Coors and Carling with more to be introduced as the brands will be on rotation to keep the selection fresh.
The Molson Coors packaged range is available across all the bars within the venue with a wide draught range available in the neighbouring 400-capacity Saltbox Live Music Venue & Kitchen on Bolero Square.
As part of the partnership, Molson Coors has teamed up with Saltbox to create the Madri-branded Saltbox Beer Garden, the perfect city centre spot to watch the Euros this summer.
The initial customer reaction has been very positive, with many of the England matches seeing the new terrace full with fans enjoying the new space and drinks offer. The main Arena entrance also features a fresh new look, decked out in Coors branding.
With a packed calendar featuring some of the biggest live music artists in the world, huge sporting spectacles and the biggest names in comedy, the new partnership is set to deliver more choice to meet the tastes of a diverse audience of tens of thousands of visitors each month.
Rachel Evans, On-Trade Sales Director at Molson Coors Beverage Company, said: “The Motorpoint Arena is an iconic UK venue, and we can’t wait to see our brands front and centre across a huge variety of events in 2024 and beyond.
“This new deal builds on our successful partnership with Greene King Brewing and Brands, and we’ll be continuing our close relationship with them over the coming years to deliver even more choice for consumers.”
Dale Scott, Regional On-Trade Sales Controller at Molson Coors Beverage Company, said: “This win is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated sales team and marks the start of an exciting partnership for Molson Coors, adding to our growing portfolio of venues across the UK.
“We have lots planned over the coming years to work with Motorpoint Arena to create world class experiences, offering a wide variety of our well-known brands to appeal to the venues’ broadening range of visitors.”
It comes hot on the heels of the introduction of ‘Prior Life’, the new product from Greene King which has seen a branding takeover of one of the entranceways. The light, easy drinking all day IPA with mellow tropical notes and citrus aroma is the first Greene King product to be available across all bars on the concourse.
Nick Walters, Head of Food and Beverage, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, said: “Molson Coors is an iconic drinks provider and we are looking forward to seeing their brands across a number of events in 2024 and beyond! We are excited to be working together to offer a wide variety of products to appeal to the different range of customers who come to Motorpoint Nottingham Arena.”
