Nine fire crews tackle huge barn fire in Papplewick

The fire service say the incident is now being scaled down.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said on Sunday 8 February:

‘At 6.22pm this evening we received a call reporting a barn fire in Papplewick.

‘At the height of this incident we had seven fire engines, the water bowser and the Aerial Ladder Platform in attendance.

‘This incident has now been scaled down, however two fire engines will remain on scene.’
