A series of road closures and ongoing works will affect bus services across Nottingham and surrounding areas next week commencing 28 September.
Several new closures begin on Monday 28 September, while a number of longer-running schemes will also continue to affect routes.
Loughborough Road, Ruddington
Loughborough Road in Ruddington will be closed overnight from Monday 28 September until Friday 2 October.
Services 10A and 10C will be affected.
Nuthall Road
Phase two of works on Nuthall Road begins on Monday 28 September and is scheduled to continue until Thursday 15 October.
Services 71, 71B, 79 and 79B will be affected.
Arnold High Street
Works affecting Arnold High Street will run from Monday 28 September until Friday 2 October.
Services 25, 53, 54, 55, 56, 58, 79 and 87 will be affected.
Church Street, Lambley
Church Street in Lambley will be closed from Monday 28 September until Thursday 1 October.
Service 61 will be affected.
Rectory Road, West Bridgford
Rectory Road in West Bridgford will be closed from Monday 28 September until Friday 9 October.
Services 7, 8 and 9 will be affected.
Easthorpe Street
The closure of Easthorpe Street, which began on 21 September, is due to continue until Friday 2 October.
Services 10 and 10C are affected.
Eton Road
Eton Road is closed between 25 and 28 September.
Service 9 is affected, with the closure therefore continuing into Monday.
Robin Hood Way
Robin Hood Way is affected by closures on 25 September and again on Monday 28 September.
Service 48 is affected.
Bathley Street
The closure of Bathley Street, which began on 7 September, remains in place.
Services 11 and 11C are affected.
Maid Marian Way demolition works
Demolition works around Maid Marian Way, which began on 9 September, will continue to affect a large number of services.
Affected routes are 1, 1A, 1B, 1E, 4, 5, 5A, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9B, 10, 10A, 10C, 11, 11C, 12, 12C, 12E, 34, 34C, 45, 45B, 48, 48A, 49, 49A, 49B, 49X, 77, 77C, 78, 78B, 79, 79B and 90.
From Monday 28 September, traffic on Maid Marian Way will also move to a single lane in each direction on the northbound side of the road while demolition of the former NCP car park continues.
Lowdham Roundabout
Long-term roadworks at Lowdham Roundabout, which began on 3 August, are expected to continue for around 13 months.
Service 26 is affected.
Linden Way, City Hospital
The closure of Linden Way at Nottingham City Hospital remains in place until further notice.
Service 40A is affected.
Passengers are advised to allow extra time for journeys and check the latest service information before travelling, particularly where road closures may require buses to follow diversion routes.
