A man has been charged with two offences in relation to a stabbing in Nottingham city centre.
Officers were called to High Street shortly after 4am on Sunday, 17th November, after a 17-year-old boy sustained a stab wound to the chest.
His current condition is described as critical but stable.
Mohammed Ahmadalye, aged 22, of Bath Street, Nottingham, was arrested on Monday, 18th November.
He was charged with making threats with a bladed article in a public place and wounding with intent on Wednesday, 20th November, and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Nottinghamshire Police has referred itself to the IOPC due to past involvement with both the suspect and the victim.
