AA Roadwatch said:
‘Road closed due to gas leak on Colwick Road Eastbound between Port Arthur Road and Racecourse Road. Traffic is coping well. Note change of location. The sensors indicate that the closure is between these points. Detour in operation – NCT Bus service Red 44.
Nottingham City Transport said: “Colwick Road has been closed due to a gas leak. Red 44 are unable to serve Sneinton Hermitage and Colwick Road, with buses using Daleside Road instead. Please make use of Red 43 where possible.”

Cadent Gas are carrying out the work which is expected to take until the evening of 3 December to complete.
